Build it and they will come, Bike Park Dent has in a short period become a living legend. In no small part due to the incredible graft of the local crew. Bex delves into the beginnings of the spot and shows us what's going down there, now!

Bex has been riding bikes ‘profesionally’ for nearly 7 years now and has in the past couple of years taken to the art form of enduro racing. Since arriving back from Canada she has found great joy in picking her way down super tech line choices and has loved documenting her companions’ trials and tribulations around the Northern Lake District with her Camera. Passionate about having women involved in mountain biking, she is chief brew maker at Cyclewise to make her bike adventures and races come to life. Found happily enjoying a pint on a school night most weeks.

Those who dig together, ride together and there's nothing better than a bunch of friends hanging out in the woods.
Nils found himself in a community, without much choice in the matter, but the experience has left him with a greater passion than before.
Building trails is a heartfelt and often life long obsession. Nick Fulton may not be one of the OG diggers up at Hill Top Trails, but he's got the passion and it's all for the good of the community.

Ben has been on wheels since before he could walk. He has been documenting life and bikes, since his teenage years using battered and borrowed cameras. Things took a turn for the better (quality) when he bought a VX2100 with his student loan, allowing him to cut his teeth in mainstream BMX media. Since those days he has broadened both his film and photography horizons, to encompass all things outdoors.
Driven by a passion to push himself both physically and creatively. Ben has documented world renowned races and published both digital and print for companies at home and abroad.

Lake District Rampage, brought to you by beer and coffee and a few lads from the South Lakes.
Cruising through life for 28 years is this chap. Working as the number 1 web monkey at Velo Ulverston. This fun loving fella has been riding bikes for a good 16 years.
Always the creative type, he pulled away from photography jobs, to enjoy taking photos for himself again. Documenting his time spend out riding with friends and the memories that will last forever. Recently creating Fell Top Leather, he focuses on making handmade leather goods, inspired by history and his time spent in the Lake District .
Stuart never takes much seriously and is always the person to spout stupid comments and act like a 5 year old. He isn’t afraid of bad weather, or going on adventures that started as a really bad idea over a pint.

A good community needs a base and Grizedale Bikes is nestled in the middle of Grizedale forest and houses some of the best staff going, it's the obvious location for a solid scene. Tim Royle documents the locals in their natural habitat.
Barry spends, seemingly all his spare time in the saddle. Armed with his trusty iPhone camera and boundless enthusiasm he took on the Jenn Ride 2018 and caught up with a lot of the fine bike packing community in the process.
Baybutt and the Cotic team took on the Megavalanche, although it is thousands of miles away from Calver, the community over the race week makes you feel right at home. Ever wanted to take it on and not sure what to expect, look no further.

Baybutt is the poshest sounding Northerner you’re likely to meet. Born and bred in the steel city, he cut his teeth photographing BMX, then honed his craft in the big smoke, stealing the souls of almost every pro roadie you’re likely to have heard of. London work was bookended with two snow seasons which made him realise he didn’t belong in a capital city. Back in Sheffield since 2010 he’s re-discovered his love of mtb and bought a house close to the BMX track. “That’s lucky” people say, “not really, that’s just good planning” he replies. Alongside freelance jobs, he works for Cotic Bikes as a mechanic and the only employee with an arts degree. Most recently he’s become a director of the Sheffield Bike Park – a (planned) indoor mountain bike training facility; A skatepark for people who don’t usually go to skateparks. It’s rarely a boring life.

It's not always about the top of the line technology. Tristan documented a trip into deepest Scotland, armed only with a bike, two good friends and a disposable camera. www.eskapee.com/issues/touring-torridon/
Tristan is a 25 year old self-taught landscape and action sports photographer, born and raised in the Lake District.
Tristan has always been keen to explore the incredible landscape on his doorstep. He was led to photography via his passion for mountain bikes. Tristan first picked up a camera to shoot friends riding bikes in the local woods around 2008. Cycling magazines such as Dirt & MBR provided motivation and Tristan became active on online forums in search of critique and tutorials to hone his skills.
Over the past couple of years Tristan’s eye has diversified encompassing landscape photography. Tristan is an avid chaser of the light preferring to capture a scene in a light that most might miss, this requires time behind the lens around the clock.

Mr Vear took a literal and entertaining approach to the brief and put together a portrait of riders and their bikes from all over. A great visual representation of how varied we are, whilst all having similar goals.

Craig, a snowsports photographer by trade always goes in feet first in the One More Brew brief and this is no exception. Multi discipline, multi location and multiple people, a real definition of community!
Bluebird Photography is the creation of landscape and action sports photographer Craig Robinson, who has an insatiable taste for adventure. His home base is Kendal (in the Lake District) but he has spent the last 2 years travelling Australia and living the winter dream in Méribel with his favourite companion; his camera. Influenced by powder days, park laps, point breaks and bluebird skies he is at home in the mountains or on the road. This board sport lover knows the dangers that his subjects regularly put themselves through to pull off incredible tricks, and he manages to achieve the astounding by capturing the perfect moment on camera. His raw, adrenaline infused images will leave you wishing you’d have witnessed the event for real.

Pete armed only with his trusty GoPro and a couple of good friends took to the Scottish Highlands and created this epic Vlog style content of his trip. Just goes to show how much of an adventure you can have just a drive from home!

Lake District born and bred, Pete is an avid mountain biker and has a real passion for the outdoors (and cake). Having worked in the cycle and outdoor industry from before he even left school, through now to working for GoPro, he manages to combine his love for photography and videography with his work. Specialising in aerial cinematography in particular, this is something he is keen to show off – the stunning surrounds of where he calls ‘Home’
For those times when he is at home, Pete can be found somewhere in the mountains… Eating cake…

Wes, as he's know to his friends has a long history in animation as well as wielding a camera, but it's been a while. It took some convincing to get him to get back in the game, but my gosh, we're glad we did. Community lead, community spirit.
